Remove coffee stains from clothes with tepid water

If you have a coffee stain, it is important to act quickly. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to get the stain out of your clothes. The first thing to do is to soak the clothes in a bucket with tepid water. In some cases this is enough to erase the stain. If there still remains a bit of coffee on your clothes, then try to rub the stain with liquid laundry detergent or with a stain remover like Vanish or Shout. Then was your stained clothes with the other laundry and you should be fine.

If it is an older stain, then we would advize you to treat the stain with glycerine first.

Pay extra attention with coffee stains on clothes made out of wool or other delicate fabrics like silk. Always check the label to see if what you are doing is not doing harm to your clothes. Not all clothing can be put in a washing machine and it is better not to rub silk clothes too hard.

Good luck!
